On Wednesday 10th December 1997 I went to see Chris Barber's Jazz & Blues Band with special guest Paul Jones, again at the Town Hall.

During the performance there were great solos from PAUL JONES on the Harmonica, and there was a brilliant Drum and Double Bass Duet.

The Line-up of the band was:-

• CHRIS BARBER - Trombone / Baritone Horn / Double Bass / Trumpet
• PAT HALCOX - Trumpet / Cornet / Flugelhorn
• JOHN CROCKER - Clarinet / Tenor Saxophone / Alto Saxophone
• IAN WHEELER - Clarinet / Alto Saxophone / Mouth Organ
• PAUL SEALEY - Banjo / Guitar / Bass Drum
• JOHN SLAUGHTER - Guitar
• VIC PITT - Double Bass
• ALAN "STICKY" WICKETT - Drums / Washboard

• PAUL JONES - Harmonica

This was a different type of concert by the nature of the music, but still as good as the rest.
